International Missions

In cooperation with the Presbyterian Church (USA) we support missions around the world through the Worldwide Minsitry Division. The "per capita" giving to General Assembly supports these missions. For more information on PCUSA missions see www.pcusa.org/wmd/

In addition to the denominational missionaries, the congregation actively supports some particular mission efforts and missionaries as listed in this section. Please click around to see some of our areas of involvement.

Thank you.

Children’s Nutrition Program of Haiti Feb 2006

From the Children’s Nutrition Program of Haiti…

We would like to thank everyone at RPC for the outpouring of love, support and generosity they have given
to our staff, board members and the children of Haiti whom we serve.

As with God’s graciousness, you have provided a home for our organization and provided us with a wealth of your time, talents and treasures since our mission work in Leogane, Haiti began in 1998. Through your uplifting
prayers and encouragement we have grown from a small mission group desiring to save children from the throes of
poverty to a many-faceted health organization that empowers whole families in Haiti to thrive and to raise
generations of healthy children.

Now our headquarters has moved to a new location. We invite you to share with us in the joy that we are now settled in the St. Andrew’s Center on Union Avenue which houses other like-minded non-profit groups such as The Homeless Coalition of Chattanooga and offers space for several congregations to worship, children to gather for
after-school programs, Girl Scouts to meet and Tennessee Temple students to gather.

Please give us a call to come visit with us. You will be amazed to see what a “Rivermont crew” can do to
make a turn of the century Sunday school office into a luxury suite!

We are forever grateful for your financial support during this transition, but above all, value the mission
partnership we have begun together to minister to our Haitian brothers and sisters in Christ.

May God bless you richly for the gifts you have given,

Cathy Speraw Dorvil
Pam Edmondson

The Board of Directors of the Children’s Nutrition Program of Haiti
