Stateside Missions

Buckhorn, Kentucky

<b>On Sunday afternoon, May 25, 2004, a team departed from Rivermont Presbyterian Church and drove up to Buckhorn, zip code 41721, nestled between Squabble Creek and Schoolhouse Branch. The team consisted of Sterling Creamer, Gene Stubsten, Ross Russell and Ray Boles who left on Sunday. This project was arranged with the help of former Rivermont member Eric Schonblom, who now lives in Buckhorn.

The Rivermont team spent the better part of a week building a
rather large wheelchair ramp between two buildings at a 76 year-old
Presbyterian Church in this rural community. This is part of the work of
the Stateside Mission committee. While on site, the team was berthed in available facilities.
